Write a New Will — Deeds and Wills Instructions
If you’re visiting this page because you don’t yet have a will in place, our Colne solicitor can take your wills and trusts instructions directly. We’ll guide you through the process in plain English, cover executors, guardianship and inheritance planning, trusts and store your finished will securely with us. Every will we write is kept safe and easy to locate, so your family will never face the situation described elsewhere on this page.
Why store your wills and trusts documents away from home?
The advantage of storing your will with a third party (i.e. not at home) is that IF you lose your original will it is considered to be revoked, i.e. that you intended to destroy it and cancel it. Therefore lots of client choose to store their wills and deeds with their solicitors to avoid accidently revoking an important legal document. Most clients keep copies or scans at home in a folder or on their computer.
